About Me

Head shot4

Hello everyone I am Chappy and I accepted Jesus Christ in 1992.

Since then I have had the pleasure of studying under some great people and at the same time the Lord has shown me how to follow the Word of God wherever it leads.

The reason I created this site was to help folks like you get a better understanding on how to be drawn closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am going to share with you my experiences and what I have discovered. I also ask that if anything on the site captures your attention I would like your feedback in any form.

So who is Chappy?

Currently I am 58 years old and over the last 20 plus years of teaching bible studies I was ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in September 2012. That was also an important year for me in another aspect; in July of 2012 I lost my kidneys to an adverse drug reaction. I currently do dialysis three days a week and am on a list for a kidney transplant. Because of dialysis I’ve had to lean on the Lord to keep my head in the game.

Studying the bible both by myself and with my wife of over 25 years is fun. I love going down rabbit trails to see where the Lord leads me. I always learn something new and the Lord loves to show me little things I have missed even when I have read that same verse for over 20 years.

Because I always loved asking questions it seemed obvious to all around me that since I loved to do research I should start writing the bible studies.

As always, good luck with any and all your endeavors in getting to know the Lord Jesus Christ better and being drawn closer to Him. Feel free to drop me a note if you have questions. I would really like to connect. Here is a link to my profile

Thank you for sharing a big part of who you are and what you believe in with us. It’s refreshing to stumble upon someone who shares the same beliefs. I like what you wrote about how you love going down rabbit trails to see where the Lord leads you. May His face continue to shine upon you and all that you do.

    Hello my brother in Christ!

I am so happy to have found you. I really hope that you will have a kidney soon.

I will wait for your bible study courses. I love to learn more about the bible. I even think about making a website for spreading the gospel!

I love learning more about Jesus and the Bible. I am glad to have found your site and quite by accident as I ask fora site to review. I will continue to follow you. too.

I am sorry that you have had be exist on dialysis for so darn long. I donated a kidney this past spring to a man that i did not know. I am an altruistic donor. He had an ad on his back window of his SUV that said “Got Kidney? I need 1. Call or txt xxx-xxx-xxxx.” As I stood there taking a picture of this, I was filled with energ frmo head to toe! I had goosebumps all over my body! I felt like i had a mowhawk. I was filled with the Spirit of my brother who had passed. He was telling me to follow this path and to Share My Spare! I did donate as an anonymous donor. Keep the faith that there is a donor out there for you.

The way you open yourself in in this very transparent way shows that you have learned to be content with your current situation. This tells me that you have put it in the hands of the supreme architect of all there is. Your faith is strong so face all fears because you have all you need to overcome.

He is the Overcomer. If we lead are life thru Him we shall overcome. Dialysis is 90 miles away. I have dialysis 3 times a week. I have to rely on Jesus just to get there and return home to my lovely wife.

    Hi Chappy,

Leaving my comment here … in your sentence ” If we lead are life thru …” change ‘are’ to “our” and of course ‘thru’ to “through”
